Your first decision in any match of Call of Duty: Warzone is choosing where to land. Usually, you will open your Tac-Map and mark a location in Urzikstan for your teammates so they know where to land. Or, you simply follow wherever your teammates have marked and drop whenever you’re close to that location. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this landing strategy, you can pick your drop spots a little more carefully in Warzone.
There are a few different factors to consider when choosing a landing spot in Urzikstan. You have to consider how hotly contested the spot will be, where certain contracts and stations are, and how close the location is to other hot spots around the map. There’s also the matter of loot to consider, as a location is only as strong as the loot it provides.
Below, you can see our list of the best drop spots in Season 1 of Warzone, which takes into account all playstyles and the various factors we just mentioned.
